The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society (movie Tie-in Edition)
by Mary Ann Shaffer

So good! It took me a few pages to get used to the format, as the entire novel is written in letters, but once I did I was hooked! In addition to endearing characters and an interesting plot, it taught me about the German occupation of Gernsey, which was a topic I was ignorant to, yet I have learned more about after reading this book. For anyone looking for a drama, romance, comedy, and WW2/post-WW2 book, I certainly recommend this!

We Are The Ashes, We Are The Fire
by Joy McCullough

This book is incredibly real. It shows just what emotions sexual abuse survivors go through, and really gives you the raw, cold, hard truth. I felt every emotion alongside these characters.
